Today, it offers visitors a unique experience. A journey in its 6,000-year history, including the chance to see renowned monuments and masterpieces of art of the antiquity and the Middle Ages and the architectural heritage of the 19th and 20th centuries. You get an uplifting, embracing feeling in the brilliant light of the Attic sky, surveying the charming landscape in the environs of the city (the indented coastline, beaches and mountains), and enjoying the modern infrastructure of the city and unique verve of the Athenians.

Today, you will head back to Athens and start preparing for your journey home. After a beautiful breakfast, you will be transferred to the Naxos port for a 6-hour ferry ride back to the mainland. 

A team member will be there to transfer you to your hotel. 

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy the city of Athens as you please. Savor your last dinner in one of the city's beautiful restaurants or explore the nightlife.

Good morning! Today, we leave Athens behind and head to the stunning island of Paros. After breakfast at your hotel, a car will transfer you to the port of Piraeus for a ferry ride to Paros. 
Upon arrival to the island, a team member will be there to transfer to your beautiful hotel. 
You will have the rest of the day to discover the island or relax as you please.

Things to do:

Paros is known for its fabulous beaches. Spend the day enjoying the sandy beaches and stopping in at one of the beach bars. 

Golden Beach, New Golden Beach, Kolymbithres and Santa Maria are among the most beautiful beaches.

If you would rather explore, visit one of Paros’ quaint towns. 

Best villages:

Naoussa: Naoussa is the second most important village of Paros. Located on the island's southern side, Naoussa is famous for its cosmopolitan atmosphere, lovely beaches and vivid nightlife.

Parikia: Parikia is the capital and the main port of Paros. It is stunning with the traditional architecture, the beautiful churches and the beaches in the surrounding area.

Successively occupied by Cretans, Minoans, Ionians, Arcadians, Macedonians, Romans, Byzantines and others, who've all made their mark on this large, hilly and fertile island, Paros has been tagged as primarily a ferry hub in recent times. Yet Paros' bustling capital with its ancient remains, the resort town of Naoussa and sweet rural villages are all the more charming for their relative lack of crowds, and there's plenty to do, with good walks, plus excellent windsurfing, kite-surfing and diving.

Good morning! Today, we are hitting the sea for a day of Aegean beauty!

After breakfast, you will board a beautiful sailboat for an all-day cruise from Paros to the astonishing Small Cyclades and Naxos to witness the beauty of unique natural formations, snorkel and swim in the crystal clear seas and take an opportunity to taste a delicious Mediterranean meal onboard. 

The cruise will begin with the wild island of Iraklia as you sail along its natural coastline until you reach the secluded beach of Alimia, where we will have our first stop to enjoy a tasty snack, snorkel and explore the sunken hydroplane of World War II. 

Next, your cruise will continue sailing to explore the serene island of Schinousa, where you will visit some of its best beaches, have approximately 2.5 hours to swim, and completely surrender to the exclusive calmness and serenity of this small, predominantly yachting destination. 


A delicious lunch will be served onboard while you enjoy the island’s peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.

Next, we will head to majestic Naxos for yet another refreshing dip into the sea at one of its amazing beaches, where you will have a stop for dessert just before you start heading back to Paros. 

After this magical day on the sea, the evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Today, you will board a sailboat and explore a number of the Cyclades' tiny, pristine islands. This will be a full day of cruising, swimming, snorkeling, and taking in Greece’s incomparable beauty. A delicious lunch will be provided, made up of fresh local dishes. 

Cruise

The six tiny islands that lie between Naxos and Amorgos have gone through millennia of civilization and upheaval, from being densely populated trading centers in the days of antiquity and then fortified Venetian outposts to pirate havens and impoverished fishing backwaters during WWII before recently remerging in the spotlight as increasingly fashionable getaways. Today, only four have permanent populations – Iraklia, Schinousa, Ano Koufonisi (Koufonisia) and Donousa – and they remain very distinct from one another in character and topography, with Koufonisia in particular welcoming sun-worshippers, Schinousa and rugged Donousa appealing to hikers, and Iraklia famous for its cave pilgrimage.

Good morning! Today, you will embark on a journey into Athens's long and mesmerizing history. With the help of your guide, you will discover some of Greece’s most fabulous treasures with a dose of the best of modern Athens. 

Your guided walking tour will include visits to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Constitution Square and Panathenaic Stadium. 
You’ll also climb to the Acropolis of Athens and see the world-famous Parthenon temple. After the hike, slow down in the fantastic Acropolis museum, where many iconic statues have finally found their home.

Good morning! Today, you will take a deep dive into Naxian craftsmanship and gastronomy. 
During an in-depth food tour, you will experience the joy and richness of all Naxos Island has to offer while learning why Mediterranean cuisine has always been and continues to remain the best and healthiest in the world. 

You will begin with a visit to a local farm where you will learn all about Naxian agriculture and their unique approach to growing vegetables, which will also be the ingredients in your authentic local meal today.

Afterward, you will visit a renovated, family-owned olive oil factory in Eggares Village, where you can watch how this “liquid gold” was once painstakingly prepared and sample its delectable olive oil products. 

You will then visit the generations-old pottery workshop in Damalas Village to see how clay is processed traditionally and learn about its use in the old days. 

You will wrap up this beautiful day with a visit to a local woman’s farm home and learn how to prepare a typical, traditional Naxian meal. This beautiful experience will end with sitting around the Greek table enjoying the Naxian flavors you prepared with great company.

This extensive day tour goes beyond your typical cooking lesson. With the help of a local guide, you will learn Naxian agricultural practices, ancient olive oil production techniques, and the art of pottery. You’ll finish your day off enjoying an intimate meal with a local woman who will teach you how to make some of her favorite Naxian dishes.

Good morning! In the evening, you will get even more acquainted with the taste of Naxian flavors while experiencing the island's warm hospitality along the way! Before your late afternoon tour, the morning is yours to enjoy as you please. Hit the beaches or relax at your hotel. 

This early evening, you will enjoy a walking tour of Naxos town that will set you in the right mood as you continue to discover what this island is all about! 

A car will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Naxos Hora (main town) to start exploring its main coastal street. 

You’ll begin by stopping at the traditional creamery shop to taste those award-winning cheeses like arseniko and graviera that are known worldwide! 

You will then continue on a walking tour of the Venetian Castle of Naxos town to have a light dinner inside the old town, with a magnificent panoramic view of the castle and the port at sunset. 

Next, we will visit the family-run candy shop to see how candies are made using local flavors like sage, citron, lemon, orange, mastic, ouzo, lime chili etc. and do a delicious tasting of hot and fresh candies to discover your favorite flavor. 

Our evening walk will end with a visit to the traditional shop to taste the "Naxos Citron" local liqueur, made with passion, love and dedication to tradition, leaving you with the pure essence of citron tree leaves.

Naxian Gastronomy

Hora, or Naxos Town, feels different from other Cycladic island capitals. It's bigger and busier, for starters, with the remnants of the fortified Venetian Kastro looming above the waterfront buildings. This was the seat of power for Marco Sanudo, the 13th-century Venetian who founded the town and made Naxos the heart of the Duchy of the Aegean. The old town is a tangle of steep footpaths and is divided into two historic Venetian neighborhoods: Bourgos, where the Greeks lived, and the hilltop Kastro, where the Roman Catholics lived.

This evening walking tour will take you through many of Naxos’ signature delights. From a light and flavorful dinner and a range of Greek cheeses to sweets made of local ingredients and a celebratory tasting of Naxos Citron—it will be a spectacular experience.

Hello Naxos!

The largest of the Cyclades, Naxos packs a lot of bang for its buck. Its main town of Hora has a gorgeous waterfront and a web of steep cobbled alleys below its hilltop Kastro and fortified Venetian mansions – a testament to three centuries of Venetian rule. You needn’t travel far to find isolated beaches, atmospheric mountain villages, ancient sites and marble quarries. The island's western side is the most developed tourist-wise and has long sandy beaches lined up with seaside hotels, restaurants and watersports centers. The eastern side is more secluded and non-organized. A drive around the island's center brings visitors to traditional villages and fascinating historical sites. Many hiking trails also cross the island and lead to secluded spots, like the peak of Mount Zas, the tallest mountain in the Cyclades. Apart from hiking, Naxos is also a great island for windsurfing and kitesurfing, as the wind conditions on the islands are perfect for that.
